Yes, it is about 50 degrees and dark and rainy today, but gardening season is really not that far away. I've already started planning for it.
Hopefully I can scrounge away a few dollars to order my usual Burpee plants. For the first time, I'm going to focus exclusively on cherry tomatoes this year. They come in all sorts of great colors, are easy to eat (which is a big deal for me since I am going to learn to eat tomatoes in 2008!), and are easy to grow.
If I have any funds left, I'm sure I'll do the usual peppers, eggplant, cucumbers, and herbs. Maybe sqaush.
I really haven't had a terrific garden since I moved into my house, so hopefully this year will be the year. I'll post pictures all spring and summer if I have any success. And I'll share with my wonderful blog readers! :)
