Spring is in the air

And in my yard ... finally.

It is that time again. Sun shining. Plants blooming. Insects flying. Garden growing.

I've got the great purple wildflowers (I think) that are growing in my yard. Their color is so deep and the smell is heavenly. I've decided not to mow that area this year and just let them bloom for as long as they will.

I've also had some long dormant plants/flowers on my patio that are finally blooming as well.

I've got all my herbs and veggies planted also, but I'll post about that another day!
